breast Augmentation surgery is performed under general anesthesia. The surgery typically takes 1- 2 hours and you are sent home the same day. You will be asked to bring a sports bra to be worn home after surgery. The bra helps with positioning of your implants and post-op comfort.

Breast augmentation recovery:

Discomfort after your breast implant surgery is managed with oral pain medications and close follow up will be performed by Dr. Yalif. Breast implant massage/exercises will begin a couple of days after surgery. No sutures have to be removed since the sutures typically will be absorbable.

Patients typically return to work 1 week after their operation and aerobic exercise can be restarted one month after surgery.
