Find Your Balance
Many men find implants specifically used for male plastic surgery procedures, such as a chin, calf or pectoral augmentation, to help create a stronger, more masculine physique. Male Implant surgeries use silicone implants shaped based on the patient’s body and goals to look natural while adding muscle mass and definition. Dr. Yalif can discuss all of the options for Male Implants in Atlanta or Alpharetta, GA, during a private consultation.
Our triple board-certified plastic surgeon, Dr. Asaf Yalif, can use Male Implants to correct body asymmetries, such as calves that are different sizes from a birth defect or a medical condition like polio.
A Unique Approach
All of our Male Implants, whether used to improve a person's appearance or function elsewhere in the body, are constructed from durable materials and custom-crafted for each patient.
The best candidates for male augmentation surgery:
Male Implants can be used to improve the appearance of the face in any way the patient desires, however, they are most frequently placed in the cheeks, chin, and jaw. Dr. Yalif also performs calf and pectoral implants for our male patients.
What to Expect
Our Atlanta Male Implant patients may have one augmentation surgery or a combination, depending on their specific needs and goals. Most implant surgeries are done with the patient under general anesthesia as an outpatient surgery, but some patients may need to spend the night for observation.
An incision is made in the back of the knee, and then the implant is placed in a pocket either below the fascia or within the calf muscle.
An incision is made in the armpit, and the implant is placed under the pectoral muscles and above the ribs.
An incision is made under the chin or inside the lip, then a pocket is created in the facial tissue where the implant will be placed.
The recovery period after Male Implant surgery will vary depending on the location of the implant, but the surgeon will go over aftercare instructions, including medications, compression garments, and activity restrictions.
Final results will be visible one to three months after the surgery when the swelling subsides, and the implants settle into their final position. Male Implants should be permanent, but patients should follow the surgeon’s care instructions and have their implants checked regularly.
